Elegant room with private bathroom in historic house - city center

No parking, very loud and poorly fitted floor boards, minimal privacy. Easy to check in, good enough location, very spac Positive: Room very spacious. Shower not bad. 10 minute walk to the city centre which was fine. Great idea with the code to get into room so no risk of losing key and very easy to check in. Negative: THERE IS NO PARKING!!! - when you put the filter on it says there is parking for this property. There is not! The closest car park is the main one in the city centre so takes 10 minutes (minimum) to walk from the car. Car park cost us €45 from Friday morning - Sunday afternoon. They don’t tell you this until a few days before when they send all of the information. I was very disappointed in this. There are nicer looking, cheaper hotels closer in the city centre that do not advertise that they have parking that you could stay in and park in the city centre car park. Floors were SO LOUD! You can hear every footstep from anyone upstairs. We were in room 5 and upstairs was so loud at 3am in the morning as well as throughout the day. They have let themselves down with the floors as they are poorly fitted. The floor is also on a slope as when you stand your suitcase up on the wheels, it wheels across the room. Coffee machine was good but they didn’t leave any milk/sugar sachets. Minimal privacy in the bathroom. There is walls and a door but the walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling so you can hear everything that happens in the bathroom from the bed.

Property owner informed us in advance with messages and we can easily enter to our room. Wifi was also very good. Its lo Positive: Its interior design was perfect. Negative: Extra pillow could be nice.

Positive: Buona posizione,stanza bella e pulita. Negative: Non ho avuto nessun contatto con il proprietario finché non lo ho chiamato e mi ha inviato codici check-in.... Presente macchina per caffè ma solo 4 cialde..ho chiesto altre ma non ho avuto risposta. Peccato..

La bellezza sensazionalista mi sembra solo una strategia commerciale. Positive: La dimensione della camera Negative: La bellezza non è qualcosa che colpisce gli occhi, ma una narrazione. E cosa narra un bagno senza porta e senza tetto all'interno di una camera? Abbassare i costi? Confondere la trasparenza (il controllo) con la libertà? Quando si viaggia, il bagno è la cosa principale e qui il bagno è un colpo agli occhi che non garantisce l'intimità necessaria per i propri bisogni.

Top verblijf! Positive: Een zeer nette kamer tegen het centrum van Brugge aan. Een kleine wandeling van 15 minuutjes naar het centrum, maar dit is geen probleem. De kamer was groot en schoon. Ik zag men klagen over de open badkamer, maar dit was vooraf gewoon bekend en daarom ook geen probleem. Het eenvoudige in en uit checken heb ik als prettig ervaren. Wat opviel, was dat de kozijnen en ramen veel geluid van buiten het pand tegenhielden. Daarnaast werkte de verwarming top en was het een goede temperatuur in de kamer. Negative: Het pand zelf is behoorlijk gehorig. Wij hoorden boven ons continu voetstappen en zagen zelfs de lamp aan het plafond trillen. Toen we echter de eigenaar een berichtje stuurden, werd er direct iets van gezegd en werd het stiller. Helaas werden wij hiervan pas een dag later op de hoogte gesteld. De waterdruk uit de regendouche was te zwak. Er is geen lift aanwezig in het pand.
